The Justin Veatch Fund's Mission
The Justin Veatch Fund is a 501(c)3 corporation and recognized New York State charity. In addition to scholarships, The Fund creates music opportunities for teens.
It awards music scholarships to at least six graduating high school seniors every June. Applicants must attend high schools within a 30-mile radius of Yorktown, New York. They are not required to major in music in college but plan to continue their music studies in one form or another.
The award itself is an engraved, high-quality working metronome with a $1,200 check attached to it.
